Neal Ewing

Neal Ewing is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also one of 98 Americans holding the Diploma of England’s Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and one of approximately 200 people worldwide recognized as Certified Wine Educators (CWE) by the Society of Wine Educators. He has had experience as a wine writer (Wine Spectator), as wine manager of a wine shop in NJ (The Wine Line, Camden), and as a wine buyer for Jack’s Firehouse Restaurant. He has been teaching wine classes at WHC since January, 2004, and has also taught numerous wine classes for WHC’s evening Community Education program, as well as for Temple University Ambler. His wine programs have earned two “Best of Philly” recognitions from Philadelphia Magazine, and in 2000 his Phillywine.com program was named “Best Wine School in the Country” by Wine Notes magazine.
